- Description: Editorial assistant at Creative Lives in Progress in 2021: interviews with UK creatives, the weekly newsletter, social media and brand work.
- Author: Lylani Devorah
- Tags: #work

As part of the Kickstart scheme (thus making this opportunity the only good thing Rishi Sunak has ever done for the UK), I was Editorial Assistant for the HudsonBec Group’s creative careers platform, *Creative Lives in Progress*, from May to November 2021\.

As well as interviewing many of the UK and beyond’s brightest things within the creative industry, I ran their weekly newsletter on MailChimp and created social media posts for them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. I also worked on brand integrations with the likes of M&S, Paul Smith and Burberry.

I continued to freelance for them after the scheme, most recently helping to curate a selection of potential candidates for Google USA’s Creative Labs programme.
