About

Lylani Devorah is a London-based artist and writer, and co-founder of Aesthetic Bureau. She has worked with Google Creative Lab, TikTok and adidas, and spoke at the V&A.

Hey, gorgeous! Welcome to my online hub. Hope you like everything you see here, and obviously hope you subscribe to the Babesletter and become a full-fledged Babe when the time's right. ❤️

About me: I've essentially Forrest Gump'd my way through the London creative industry (for more, see my professional bio below!). I've opened up gift bags for TikTokers, been gifted a pair of adidas Gazelles because the marketing powers-that-be there loved my work, and one time Tom Allen complimented me on my all-Primark fit (weirdly, it wasn't a snazzy suit). And now I'm sowing the seeds needed to become a digital nomad (read: annoying hashtag girlboss with a tendency to flex harder than Ronnie Coleman at the Mr Olympia), while working on my own personal art and archiving practices on the side.

The Babesletter

Every week, I'll ramble in my journal as much as I can until I physically break, and then, to start the next week off, I'll send the fruits of my labour to your inbox every Monday with a sigh of relief. There'll be videos too; lots of them hopefully. Just hope that you bear with my lisp.

Subjects include: travel (near, far, wherever you are), nightlife, daylife, my fellow art tarts, movies, telly, music, about two books, medical cannabis (godbewilling), perfumes, fitness (or catastrophic attempts at such), and the art of hoarding a bunch of stuff and calling myself an "archivist" because i have a camera/scanner/both at once.

Final words of warning: if you want to re-enact anything you see on this website, then please try with caution. not that many things on here will be beneficial for you in particular.

but anyway hope you enjoy x

Professional Bio

Lylani Devorah (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and content creator currently based in Hackney, London.

An alumnus of D&AD's alternative ad school, Shift, she has collaborated with Google Creative Lab, TikTok, adidas, Diageo, Marshall, Penguin Random House, and the University of the Arts London, in a number of creative roles. These engagements developed her foundational blueprint for brand communications: executing with absolute creative ambition, backed by flawless commercial rigour.

As a writer, Devorah has interviewed Paralympians, Google Doodle illustrators and animators for CBeebies for publications such as It's Nice That, Creative Lives in Progress and THIIIRD. Her photographic work for defunct queer cultural space The Glory was featured in Time Out, BBC News and Attitude, and a month before she turned 19, she became the second person assigned female at birth to photograph for the gay weekly QX.

Adept in media environments, she was interviewed for Creative Review in 2022, and her decade of experience in creative fields resulted in an invitation to speak at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A)'s Upstart festival in 2024.

Devorah's most recent endeavour has been as co-founder of governance-led marketing consultancy, Aesthetic Bureau. There, she sits at the frontier of creative ideation and commercial strategy, defining what rigorous marketing looks like at scale for aesthetic and medical clinics across the land.
